Alpha Chi Omega encourages it’s members to continue their involvement upon graduation. One of the best parts of a women’s membership in Alpha Chi Omega comes through the experiences and involvement she has as an alumnae. Alumnae can use their bond number to create an account on the Alpha Chi Omega national website. (If you have a question regarding your bond number please contact Britain thru the contact us page. On the national site alumnae can find old friends, update their contact information, and find opportunities available only to Alpha Chi Omega members.
Life Loyal Alpha Chi Omega is a group of alumnae and collegians, of all ages, who choose to continue to take further advantage of Alpha Chi Omega membership and stay connected to our sisterhood long after their college years. They include scores of women from all across the globe that have added distinction to themselves and Alpha Chi Omega by joining Life Loyal AXO. There is a one-time (forever!) membership fee of $299. Many new graduates are including this in their “dues” for their last semester. Parents are making this a graduation gift to their daughters.
The program will include a lifetime subscription to The Lyre publication and special access to events and information, as well as a generous discount benefits program.
Calling All Beta Eta Alumnae
Beta Eta is one of an elite few chapters in the nation to have their very own Virtual Alumnae chapter, Xi Omega Xi. The chapter is comprised of Alumnae, Parents and friends of Alpha Chi Omegas dedicated to Florida State University. The mission of the chapter is to support the Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, and reconnect Beta Eta Alumna throughout the nation. Please visit the blog to learn more. You can also follow Xi Omega Xi on twitter, @AXOFSUAlum, and on Facebook
Please join the Beta Eta Chapter and Alumnae as they celebrate Florida State University Homecoming 2017 November 12-18. The event dates and times are TBD, pending University Activities. In addition to the University sponsored homecoming events, the chapter will be hosting an alumnae brunch at the chapter house on the Sunday following the game, from 11am- 1pm. Additional weekend events will be sponsored by Xi Omega Xi, Beta Eta’s Virtual Alumnae Chapter. Please visit the dedicated homecoming link on our co-shared blog.
Keeping in Touch
If you are a Beta Eta alumnae looking to stay up to date with members from your “decade” please be sure to join the Beta Eta yahoo groups set up by decade. (you can do so by clicking your decade link below) We are blessed to have the ladies of Xi Omega Xi and Epsilon Tau Epsilon Alumnae volunteering to manage these groups. These groups allow the collegiate chapter to share chapter updates, and alumnae events. They also allows us to facilitate updates from members who were active during your time (marriages, children, deaths, etc)
In addition to the above, the collegians of the Beta Eta chapter send one annual “snail mail” newsletter in January to all Beta Eta alumnae, Alpha Chi Omega alumnae in Tallahassee, and parents of current members. They also have partnered with the Xi Omega Xi, Virtual Alumnae chapter, to manage a joint blog. The blog is updated several times a week with collegiate and alumnae spot lights, house information, DVA and Philanthropy information, and upcoming events.
If you are interested in getting involved at the local level there are various opportunities. We encourage all members to join our award-winning local alumnae chapter, Epsilon Tau Epsilon. You can also serve on a chapter advisory board, help out with a collegiate chapters events, or simply just attend events as you are able.
Epsilon Tau Epsilon is the local Alumnae Chapter for Tallahassee, and the surrounding areas. The Beta Eta chapter appreciates their help, support and involvement ! If you are a Beta Eta Alumna or an Alpha Chi Omega Alumnae from another chapter living in the Tallahassee area and are interested in getting involved please visit their website.
